I spent today with the very talented Abi Bansal who took some beautiful modelled shots of my jewellery for my new website. It was a bit of an unusual shoot even for Abi, as I asked her to model my jewellery as well as shoot and style it (which incidentally is not something that most people can do)!
I opted for Abi’s Custom Styling Packaging, where she worked with me to create the perfect look and feel for my brand taking into consideration my existing brand identity…it was such a pleasure to see someone so multi-talented at work and you can see the results for yourself. I am very pleased indeed.

New Year Fresh Start – Communicating my brand!
At the end of last year I decided that my Sakura Jewellery website was overdue a much needed overhaul and I really didn’t want to start yet another year with the same old look I had been “settling” for. Luckily, doing what I do does have it perks and puts me in touch with a large number of exceedingly talented folk, one of whom is the lovely artists and web-designer, Lorrie Whittington of Illusio Creative and Illusio Design. I felt totally happy putting Sakura Jewellery in her safe, capable hands and before I could blink she had delivered me a brand-spanking new website for a snip!
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Wowser it’s been a helluvah year both personally and professionally: 2 x weddings, a new arrival (of the furry variety), a birth (of the cute little girl variety), celebrations, wild visitors to the garden, festivals, news coverage for UK Handmade and everything in between!
No doubt 2012 will have its equal share of surprises and shenanigans but for now here’s wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
